Michelin Discusses The Impacts of Worn Tires; Displays Record-Setting Koenigsegg Agera RS and demonstrates innovation at NAIAS 2018

Michelin North America demonstrated the safety, financial and environmental impacts of premature removal for worn tires at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, explaining that a tire’s stopping abilities and other performances can change significantly as it wears.

Michelin is proud to be the exclusive tire sponsor of the show for the past 30 years as well as sponsor of the Michelin Media Center at NAIAS.

At the show Michelin demonstrated the impacts of worn tires against new tires, displayed the record-setting Koenigsegg Agera RS on MICHELIN Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires and highlighted key innovations initiatives such as the VISION tire concept and Michelin Acorus flexible wheel technology.
