Michelin is tops in three of four J.D. Power Original Equipment Customer Satisfaction Segments

Michelin continues to dominate tire industry’s most respected study of consumer satisfaction

GREENVILLE, S.C., March 31, 2016 – Adding to its impressive list of coveted J.D. Power tire awards over the last 27 years, Michelin has received the majority of awards in the 2016 J.D. Power Original Equipment Customer Satisfaction Study SM .

This year, Michelin took the industry’s top honors in the Luxury, Passenger Car and Truck/Utility segments, scoring significantly above the industry average in each segment. Michelin ranked a close second in the Performance Sport segment.

The 2016 results bring Michelin’s all-time total of J.D. Power tire awards to 80, a tally that is over four times more than all other tire manufacturers combined in J.D. Power tire satisfaction studies, which began in 1989.
