Michelin North America Supports SC Flood Relief Efforts with American Red Cross

GREENVILLE, S.C., Oct. 7, 2015 --- Greenville-based Michelin North America has donated $100,000 to American Red Cross in support of flood-relief efforts underway in the Palmetto State.

"Because of the hard work and dedication of the people who live and work across South Carolina, Michelin has become one of the largest private employers in the state. Like so many others in the Midlands and the Lowcountry, the lives of Michelin families have been uprooted by the recent floods," said Pete Selleck, chairman and president of Michelin North America. "We are deeply moved by the devastating images and accounts from the past week. Michelin's donation to American Red Cross is an effort to help all the families touched by the floods start the long process of rebuilding."
