Michelin Adds More Long-Lasting Value for Bad Boy Customers

1557

The Bad Boy 2024 Rebel X ZTR comes standard
with Michelin X® TWEEL® Turf airless radial drive tires.

  • Michelin’s X Tweel tire is the standard fitment on the 2024 Bad Boy Rebel X commercial zero-turn mower.
  • Michelin X TWEEL Turf 24x12N12 airless tire is now the original equipment fitment on all 2024 Bad Boy Rebel X 61” and 72” deck models.

GREENVILLE, S.C., Oct. 19, 2023 – The new 2024 Rebel X, built on the legacy of Bad Boy’s legendary performance, now comes standard with Michelin’s airless radial tires.

The Michelin 24” TWEEL tire (24x12N12 X TWEEL Turf 5on4.5” -1.3 -inch offset) is the Original Equipment (OE) rear-wheel fitment for the 2024 Bad Boy Rebel X models, or it can be used as a replacement fitment on an existing mower, replacing the standard 24x12x12 tire.

“We’re proud of our partnership with Bad Boy Mowers and excited to bring unbeatable value to every Rebel X mower owner,” said Tony Marconi, business director of Michelin TWEEL Technologies. “Bad Boy mowers are known for their long-lasting performance and value. Michelin’s airless technology adds tires tough enough to ‘mow with an attitude’ day after day without flat tires.”

As standard equipment on the Rebel X, the Michelin TWEEL tire provides every owner improved productivity by eliminating downtime due to flats and unseated beads. Tweels also enhance operator comfort and help maintain a level deck without having to adjust air pressure.

“With a mission to improve on power, performance and reliability for the commercial user. Michelin was the perfect partner for the all-new Rebel X,” said Jonathan Norris, Bad Boy Mowers Director of Sales.

Designed to perform like pneumatic tires, the Michelin X TWEEL airless radial tire line replaces the current tire-and-wheel assembly, removes the need for complex mounting equipment, and eliminates any costly downtime due to flat tires, a key pain point in the landscaping industry.

The Michelin X TWEEL Turf tire size 24x12N12 features a 750-pound load capacity, which can be used with or without a bagger system. It also incorporates a five-bolt design, which mounts easily to the Rebel X mowers without modification or complex mounting equipment.

Both the Michelin X Tweel Turf tire and Bad Boy Mower representatives will be available for media interviews at Equip Exposition in Louisville, Kentucky, Oct. 17-20.  Michelin is located at booth No. 7040.
