Oliver® Rubber Introduces Vantage Max Drive II Retread

OLIVER Vantage Max Drive II is designed for mileage and fuel savings

GREENVILLE, S.C. July 15, 2022 Oliver Rubber, a leading provider of products and services to the tire retreading industry, announced today the launch of the new Vantage Max Drive II tread, an Oliver drive position retread that meets Smartway® requirements[1] for line-haul and regional applications.

“The Vantage Max Drive II tread demonstrates Oliver Rubber’s continued investment in proven quality,” said Jaye Young, B2B on-road marketing director for Michelin North America, Inc. “Since 1912, Oliver and its family of dealers have proudly sold and serviced top-quality, American-made retreads you can trust to keep your trucks moving. We stand behind our retreads so you can stand behind your business.”

The Vantage Max Drive II tread will be available in five sizes: 210, 220, 230, 240 and 250. At 24/32nds, it provides 26% more tread depth than the Vantage Max Drive[2] and is designed to deliver improved mileage performance. Oliver Rubber’s proprietary rubber compounding helps to provide enhanced fuel savings. It is the newest addition to the Vantage family, which also includes Trailer II, Max Drive and Drive tires. All use Oliver Rubber’s exclusive VDI plus™ feature that acts as a visual depth indicator, helping to identify tread pull points while also resisting the retention of road debris. Oliver Rubber’s retreads provide peace of mind with a national limited warranty[3].
