MICHELIN XD MINEWORKS tire is designed with a new tread pattern and tread depth to deliver even wear on hard soil and a worry-free product experience.

Utilizing the latest mining tire design principles, the tire incorporates advanced casing and high-wear resistance compound technologies for surface mining tires to handle heavy loads at lower pressure and is designed for good balance between TMPH1 and wear resistance. Thanks to tough cables and innovative architecture, the MICHELIN XD MINEWORKS tire allows operators to run with less pressure than competitor tires for the same load2, which can deliver big benefits for the operator and the equipment. The non-directional, 66.0 mm tread (designed for minimal rotation) minimizes stone retention. This tire has the same Michelin manufacturing warranty as all Michelin mining tires.

With the introduction of the 2-star MICHELIN XD MINEWORKS, Michelin offers a complete 49" tire portfolio. This also includes the 3-star MICHELIN® XDR® 3 tire that maximizes productivity and tire life and the 3-star MICHELIN® XDGRIP tire that is for the most challenging loose surface conditions.

1 Productivity — as measured by TKPH — quantifies productivity and is a function of load and distance covered in an hour.
